No St. Patricks Day Fatalities On Wyoming Highways

There were no fatal crashes investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Troopers conducted a total of 1,139 traffic stops, resulting in 17 impaired drivers being arrested. While troopers were primarily focused on identifying impaired drivers, they were also looking for seat belt violations and speeders. Over the weekend the Wyoming Highway Patrol issued 443 citations for speeding, with 65 people being cited for not wearing a seat belt.
