A felony-grade drug offender sought by Wyoming authorities since last month has been tracked down and captured. According to Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell, in February of 2009, 26-year old Brittany Poignee of Rock Springs pled no contest to Unlawful Manufacture or Delivery of methamphetamine, and was placed on supervised probation for five years. Two years later, her probation was revoked and she was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three to five years at the Wyoming Women’s Center, but that sentence was suspended and she was placed on three years of supervised probation. After several violations, her probation was extended. Last month, Poignee again violated her probation and she was arrested Wednesday. She remains in custody at the Sweetwater County Detention Center pending her next court appearance.
