Wyoming Unemployment Rate Falls

The unemployment rate in Wyoming fell .2% to 4.1% from April to May, according to the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. The department says the decline is at least partially due to Wyoming’s decreasing labor force, which has fallen by more than 3,000 workers from a year ago. These workers have either left the state or or have dropped out of the labor force entirely.  The lowest unemployment rate by county was at 2.7% in Niobrara, with Natrona County the highest, at nearly 5.5%.
