Sweetwater County deputies and detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Office SNAAG unit arrested two wanted people last week. Sheriff Mike Lowell said deputies Friday evening arrested 19 year old Morgan Bauer, who was wanted for Possession of Methamphetamine. They found him at a home near Rock Springs. 29-year-old Joshua Hunter of Rock Springs was also there. A bench warrant had been issued for Hunter charging him with failure to pay on a reckless driving charge and for failing to maintain contact with an attorney. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center. Several other adults and two small children were also at the residence, where a search uncovered drugs, including methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Lowell said the Sheriff’s Office investigation is continuing, with charges of child endangering, possession of a controlled substance, and interference with a peace officer all possibilities.
