Wyoming Man Arrested For DUI During Visit To Highway Patrol Office

wyoming hpVehicle Identification Number (VIN) inspections are conducted at the headquarters of the Wyoming Highway Patrol in Cheyenne on a daily basis. On Tuesday, July 15th, 58 year old Daniel K. Adamson of Wheatland, Wyoming traveled to Cheyenne for one such VIN inspection. Upon his arrival and request for an inspection at the Patrol headquarters, troopers smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Adamson. An impaired driving investigation began and Adamson was placed under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol.    The Wyoming Highway Patrol reminds everyone of their agency’s “zero tolerance” stance on impaired driving and stated “that you will be arrested and go to jail if you chose to drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Even if you come to us.”
