A work site accident Tuesday afternoon required a 41 year old man to be taken to The Memorial Hospital at Craig. Emergency responders were called to the excavation going on in front of Northwest Pawn on Victory Way in Craig where a worker had been struck by a concrete pipe. They found the injured man at the bottom of the 23 foot deep excavation. Emergency Medical Technicians provided initial care and Craig Firefighters removed the man from the pit on a stretcher and he was transported to the Memorial Hospital where he was transported to another facility. His condition is not known. Photos from the site courtesy of Doug Slaight for Craig Fire/Rescue. Click to enlarge.
