Weather, Wildlife Factors in Rollover North of Craig

Vehicle-Accident-300A one vehicle rollover accident on Highway 13 Friday night sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries. The accident occurred about 20 miles north of Craig at a little before midnight. Emergency crews say it appears weather and wildlife were both factors in the crash. There was about two inches of fresh snow on the roads when the accident happened. The driver lost control and rolled down an embankment. Nobody else was in the vehicle, and the driver was taken to The Memorial Hospital at Craig for precautionary purposes. Authorities remind drivers to be extra cautious when driving in bad weather, especially at night, and especially in areas heavily populated by wildlife.
