Four town meetings are being held across the state to talk about the overreach of the Environmental Protection Agency. The closest stop will be in Grand Junction. The meeting tour, titled “Defending Colorado Jobs and Economy against EPA Overreach”, will focus on protecting the state from the EPA and its strangling regulations. It is sponsored by the Independence Institute, Americans for Prosperity, and the National Federation of Independent Business. It is also backed by Colorado Senate Republicans. Organizers say if you are concerned about all of the new regulations coming out of Washington, D.C., you should be in attendance. Those that show up will also learn how those impending regulations will affect their way of life. It takes place in Grand Junction October 20th from 11:30 to 1. You can get more details by calling 303-279-6536 x 118.
