U.S. Governors and Foreign Representatives to Meet in Colorado this Year

JOHN-HICKENLOOPER-300Colorado Springs will host a first-of-its-kind gathering of the governors of U.S. and Mexican states, as well as the premiers of Canadian provinces this October. The National Governors Association wrote in a press release that the summit is aimed at promoting cooperation among North American leaders in the spirit of economic development. In a statement, Governor John Hickenlooper stated “Governors of the United States are committed to providing a meaningful dialogue with our North American partners, and I am honored to host the first of these meetings.” The Mexican and Canadian ambassadors to the US will also attend. An agenda of items to be discussed is still being finalized for the summit, which is scheduled for October 30th and 31st.  Pictured:  John Hickenlooper
