Authorities have arrested two more students in connection with an alleged threat against a northern Colorado high school. The Weld County Sheriff’s Office says the students, whose names and ages have not been released, were arrested Friday after investigators learned they planned to carry through with a violent plot that was discovered earlier in the week. Three other students were arrested early last week after sheriff’s deputies and detectives were made aware of a potential threat involving weapons at Weld Central High School in Keenesburg. Authorities say the students who were arrested Friday were not part of the original plan but were trying to pick up where their friends left off. Details of the alleged plot have not been released.
