Two Arrested For Identity Theft

Two people from New Mexico were arrested after stolen ID’s, checks and other financial documents were discovered in their possession. 35-year-old Desiray Sanchez and 34-year-old Jesse Aime were taken into custody Thursday after police conducted a search warrant at their Craig hotel room. Police became aware of Sanchez and Aime earlier this month, when they were seen attempting to remove a license plate from a vehicle in Hayden. Officers identified Sanchez and Aime as suspects and determined the two had been staying in the Craig area. The two are also suspected of committing a theft from a Craig business. They were charged with felony Identity Theft among other charges. Both are in custody at the Moffat County Jail.
