Two people from California were arrested last week after police discovered more than 3 pounds of marijuana in their possession. 35-year-old Crystal Nichols and 32-year-old Mustafa Askia, were taken into custody after a Sweetwater County drug dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs in their vehicle. During the search, officers discovered a little over three pounds of marijuana in vacuum-sealed packages. The two were charged with felony-grade Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver and Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance. After the pair was arrested, it was determined that Askia was also wanted on charges in the Green River area under the pseudonym Sergio Hernandez. Askia was wanted under the alias Sergio K. Hernandez for Failure to Appear and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pictured above from left to right, Crystal Nichols and Mustafa Askia, aka Sergio Hernandez.
