Two people have announced their intent to run to become the new Moffat County Clerk and Recorder in the 2018 election. Tammy Raschke announced her bid via a letter. In it Raschke says she has served in the Moffat County Clerk’s office for the last 27 years. She believes this experience makes her the most qualified person for the job, and if she is elected, she looks forward to continuing the quality customer service the Clerk’s office provides. Audrey Anna Masterson also released a letter announcing her intent to run. Masterson says she is an enthusiastic supporter of the community, and believes her experience and values make her a good fit to become the next Clerk. If elected, Masterson says she will continually seek out ways to best utilize county funds, and will bring fresh ideas to the position, on how to best serve the residents of Moffat County. The County Clerk’s position is term limited, with Current Clerk Lila Herod not able to run again. Links to the letters from Raschke and Masterson are available above.
