Trump’s Election Could Be Big For Wyo Coal

wyoming-flag-graphicWyoming Governor Matt Mead says that he is hopeful that with election of Donald Trump, the state will be able to turn around its declining coal and energy production. Wyoming is the nations leading coal producer, but production has slipped recently due to increased regulations, and other factors like cheaper natural Gas. Despite the election of Trump Mead’s proposed budget for next year will not change. The Governor is expected to ask state lawmakers to help cover budget deficits by taking an undetermined amount of money, out of the states nearly $1.5 billion rainy day fund.
