Wild Rose Trail on Emerald Mountain has been closed to allow the City of Steamboat to continue to remove beetle kill trees in the area. The trail is expected to be closed for two weeks to allow work to continue. Other trails that remain closed include Root Canal, Upper and Middle Stairway to Heaven, No Moe Bluze and Wild Rose. The Morning Gloria trail has been reopened. The city will provide current closure information for Emerald Mountain trails on the City’s Facebook page.
