Tipton Votes In Favor of Benghazi Investigation

SCOTT-TIPTON-300Yesterday, Congressman Scott Tipton (R-CO) voted to form a Select Committee to investigate the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans. The Committee will be comprised of 12 members appointed by the Speaker, and is tasked with conducting a full investigation into the events surrounding the attack in Benghazi and issue a final report to Congress.  Tipton co-sponsored a similar resolution in 2013 calling for a Select Committee investigation.  In a statement, Tipton says “There are many questions that remain unanswered about that tragic night.  The American people, and especially the families of those who were killed, deserve to know the full truth of what happened.”
