Congressman Scott Tipton says he is pleased with the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the Environmental Protection Agency did not do enough cost analysis before implementing their new power plant emissions rule. The Court said that the EPA did not consider the cost of compliance to the plants, the communities they’re located in, and the people that live in those communities. Tipton is in Northwest Colorado and stopped in to talk with Wild West Radio about the decision. He said the ruling is a good start to curbing unchecked policy making in Washington. Tipton talked with Craig residents last night at a town hall meeting. He’ll be in Steamboat this morning, visiting with the Routt County Commissioners and hosting a Financial Services Roundtable.
