Tax Collections Up $100K For October

Steamboat tax collections in October were $30,000 higher than previously indicated in the preliminary Sales Use and Accommodation Tax Report. Taxes for October grew by more than 7%, or $106,000, when compared to the previous year, with the biggest gains coming from lodging and amenities which increased by 35% and Marijuana, which grew more than 10%.
