Celebrate Veterans Day Today

WW2 Memorial Now Standing

ww-2-memorial-craigA memorial to Moffat County soldiers killed during the 2nd World War is now standing just north of the Craig VFW. Plans are being made to add landscaping, lighting, fencing and flags to the site. Moffat County Memorializes WW II Soldiers

WWII Memorial in Store for Craig

sculptureA World War 2 veterans’ memorial is in the works for Craig. The Moffat County Commissioners listened to a proposal regarding the memorial earlier this week. The memorial would be a sculpture of a soldier, but where it would be displayed is still a matter of discussion.
