Fire Renders Truck a Total Loss

PICKUP FIRE 1Craig firefighters responded to a vehicle fire this morning on top of Knez Divide on Moffat County Road 33. According to firefighters, the vehicle was a pick up truck owned by Anson Excavating. The fire broke out a little PICKUP FIRE 2before seven this morning. The cause is unclear, and due to the damage, may never be known. However, the driver of the truck indicated the fire started in the engine compartment. The truck was a total loss, but there were

Fire Destroys Car on Highway 13

fire-1-300Craig Fire/Rescue responded to a vehicle fire yesterday evening. The incident happened on Highway 13 about 6 miles south of Craig a little after 7 last night. It’s not clear how the vehicle caught fire, but the car is considered a total loss. Nobody was injured in the incident.
