Meeker Wins 2A State Wrestling Title – Listen to the State Final Matches

Meeker Cowboys horse cowboy flagEvery one of Meeker’s state wrestlers contributed to the teams narrow win Saturday night.  Meeker edged out Rocky Ford by a single point, 143 to 142 to take the team title.  Meeker had six wrestlers medal, three of those taking first, including TJ Shelton who became just the 19th wrestler in Colorado history to win four state championships.
