Thomas Johnson Found Guilty For Murder Of Lori Bases

A Routt County jury convicted Thomas Johnson Saturday, of Murder in the First Degree, for killing Lori Bases in Steamboat Springs in May of 2000. This was Johnson’s third trial and conviction for the murder. His two prior convictions were overturned on appeal. The jury declined to find Johnson guilty of additional charges of First Degree Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief for the vandalism of Bases’ vehicle in April of 2000. Former Steamboat Athlete Goes Into Hall Of Fame
