I-70 through Glenwood Canyon will remain closed at least through midday tomorrow following a rock slide that damaged the roadway and left massive boulders on the highway. An accident on Highway 40 on the east side of Rabbit Ears Pass near the intersection of Highway 14 closed highway 40 in both directions earlier today. Details of the accident have not been released. Traffic was detoured to highways 131 and 134 during the closure. Highway 40 was reopened around 7 Friday night.
