The Community Budget Center in downtown Craig was broken into over the weekend. A TV was stolen, and cash from the store’s donation box. Thieves also unplugged the store’s security equipment, and damaged the building. Karen Brown with the donation center says there will not be any money for assistance programs for the month of June. The center gives emergency assistance to people who need it, whether it is for rent, gas money, or shelter. Brown says, “It’s pretty scary stuff when things like this happen in a small community.”
