Planned Power Outage Tonight In Hayden

Power outages affected thousands of people over the weekend. Yampa Valley Electric Association reported that 7,000 of its members were affected. The rash of outages were due primarily to the heavy wet snow that blanketed the region on Friday. Part of Craig Loses Power Briefly
A small portion of Craig lost power for about half an hour this morning. The outage was due to a small animal getting into electrical equipment. It took out the Woodbury subdivision and parts of Victory Way. The critter did not survive. Power was fully restored within 30 minutes.
