A single engine aircraft crashed 15 miles west of Meeker last night. The Rio Blanco Communications center received a call from a person who said they heard a plane rev its engine followed by an explosion. Denver Center Air Traffic control was contacted and they reported that the aircraft had disappeared off the radar. Continue reading
