Craig Police Ask For Public’s Help in Finding Missing Person

image001The Craig Police Department and the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the following missing person, John Michael Simons.   He left his home on July 25th, leaving a note stating that he was going to Trapper’s Lake for 4-5 days.  There has been no further communication with him and multiple agencies are trying to locate him or his vehicle.  Pictured: John Michael Simons. Man Shot In Rural Moffat County Dies

moffat-county-sheriff-300The man shot, a week ago, in a shooting at a Wilderness Ranches lot in unincorporated Moffat County has died.  The victim has been identified as 51 year old Ronald Torgersen, who died earlier today at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction from the injuries he sustained during the incident.   Continue reading
