A former Grand County employee, Brigid Irish who faced more than 930 charges following the discovery of a half-million dollars missing from the Grand County Treasury pleaded guilty in the Grand County District Court to one count each of theft, attempt to influence a public official, and embezzlement of public property, all felonies. A Kremmling man who went missing during a Broncos game last week has been found safe and sound. That’s according to police in Denver, who say Paul Kitterman was located in Pueblo. The Craig Police Department reported to Wild West Radio News that the white Chevrolet pickup, belonging to John Michael Simons has been discovered. The pickup was found by a rancher in northern Routt County adjacent to the Black Mountain area, parked in a location known to be used by hunters and campers. There was no indication of foul play and it appeared that Simons had gone there to hike or camp in the vicinity. Simons was reported missing on July 25, 2014. A ground and air search of the rugged area where the truck was found failed to locate Mr. Simons and he continues to be listed as a Missing Person.
