Teen Killed In Highway 13 Accident

A teenager was killed early Saturday afternoon in a two vehicle accident on Highway 13, 20 miles south of Meeker. 19 year old Brodie Tiffany of Silt died when the pickup he was driving was struck by a car traveling in the opposite direction. The car being driven by, 71 year old Paul Matson of Centennial, had traveled off the right side of the roadway. UPDATE – Crane-Truck Accident Near Rangely

A crane-Truck rolled over just after 10 Wednesday morning, on Highway 64, 12 miles east of Rangely. Tolls Begin Saturday On I-70 Mountain Express

I70 SIGNThe High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) today announced that toll collection will begin on the eastbound I-70 Mountain Express Lane this Saturday, Dec. 19. The lane, which runs 13 miles from Empire to Idaho Springs, opened Dec. 13 with all tolls waived, allowing drivers to learn how to use the lane and for CDOT to test equipment. Continue reading
