Wounded Trooper “Awake and Communicating”

State Patrol Officer Shooting Closes I-70

A shooting has forced the Colorado State Patrol to close down I-70 today.  According to reports, a trooper made a routine stop near Dotsero, when shots were fired.  The trooper was injured, and the suspect is reportedly dead.  The trooper has not been identified, and is being treated at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood.  I-70 is west bound is closed  Continue reading
