A teenager was killed early Saturday afternoon in a two vehicle accident on Highway 13, 20 miles south of Meeker. 19 year old Brodie Tiffany of Silt died when the pickup he was driving was struck by a car traveling in the opposite direction. Bill Introduced To Help Fund Rural Hospitals

 A bill has been introduced in the U.S. Senate that would permanently extend Medicare financing programs, which help support hospitals in rural areas like Northwest Colorado. Colorado Senator Michael Bennet joined a bi-partisan group which introduced the bill last week.
