MOCO Broadband Improvement On The Horizon?

Plans to strengthen Moffat County’s broadband infrastructure took another step forward this week. Planned Power Outage Tonight In Hayden

Power Outage Affects 7,000

power-outage-300Power outages affected thousands of people over the weekend.  Yampa Valley Electric Association reported that 7,000 of its members were affected. The rash of outages were due primarily to the heavy wet snow that blanketed the region on Friday.  YVEA crews worked from just after midnight Friday morning until 9 Friday night when they were sent home to rest and prepare to tackle the remaining power problems beginning at 6
