MOCO 2017 Budget Down $6 Million

budget-cuts-300The Moffat County Commissioners approved the preliminary budget for 2017 at their weekly meeting yesterday. The County will have nearly $6 Million less to spend in 2017 than in 2016, partially due to falling property values in the county. Colorado Man Identified As Pilot Of Crashed Plane

Copy of IMAG0420 Copy of IMAG0411The pilot who died when his plane went down 15 miles west of meeker Thursday night has been identified as 62 year old William Ray Hiler of Tabernash, Colorado. Hiler’s body was recovered from the crash site and transported to Grand Junction where and an autopsy will be conducted today . The National Transportation Safety Board has assumed responsibility for investigating the crash. Continue reading
