Teen Killed In Highway 13 Accident

A teenager was killed early Saturday afternoon in a two vehicle accident on Highway 13, 20 miles south of Meeker. 19 year old Brodie Tiffany of Silt died when the pickup he was driving was struck by a car traveling in the opposite direction. The car being driven by, 71 year old Paul Matson of Centennial, had traveled off the right side of the roadway. UPDATE: Steamboat PD Looks To Identify Burglary Suspect

The Steamboat Springs Police Department is looking to identify the man who broke into the Sambi Canton  restaurant around 2 Sunday morning. The man used a crow bar to enter the building where he stole an undisclosed amount of cash.  The man is described as either Asian or Hispanic and is believed to be between 5 feet and 5 feet 4 inches tall. Auto Accident Caused By Mud Covered Roadway

According to a representative from Craig Fire and Rescue, the driver lost control when he encountered a mud slide that had been washed across the road after a heavy rain fall.
