The Moffat County Festival of Trees opens today at the Moffat County Courthouse. The Festival is a display of several Christmas Trees, each of which has been decorated by an individual or group sponsor. Permits to cut Christmas trees on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests are now available at multiple locations in Colorado and Wyoming. Craig Rotary still has a few Christmas trees left. The Craig Rotary club is selling Christmas trees as a fundraiser. All trees are now priced at a reduced rate of $30. Christmas trees are available at the lot next to the Craig McDonald’s again this year. Sales start today. For years, selling the trees was a fundraiser for the Craig Lion’s Club. This year, the Rotary Club of Craig has taken over the sales.
