Steamboat snowboarder Arielle Gold took home the bronze medal during the Woman’s Half Pipe event at the Winter Olympics yesterday. Gold joined fellow American Chloe Kim on the podium, who took home the gold medal. Gold scored an 85.75 in her third and final run, which included a 1080, to secure the Bronze Medal. After the event, Gold said she was sure Steamboat was proud of her, and that she was happy to be bringing a medal home to a town that had given her so much.
