Steamboat Tax Collections Up To Start Year

Steamboat tax collections were up to start the year, according to the Final Sales Use and Accommodation Tax Report for January. Taxes for January grew by nearly 9%, or more than $200 thousand, as compared to January of 2017. The biggest tax increases came from marijuana sales, which increased by more than 16% and miscellaneous retail, which also grew more than 16%.  To view the final sales report for January, click here.
