The City of Steamboat is offering a free Historic Places Bike Tour next week, in celebration of Historic Preservation Month. The tour will visit notable historic sites such as the Steamboat Springs Depot, the Routt County Courthouse and the Bungalows of 7th Street. Stops will also showcase Steamboat’s mid-century modern building and roadside architecture that include the old Chamber Building, the YVEA Building, the Methodist Church, and the Rabbit Ears Motel Sign. The tour will conclude at the iconic More Barn. Refreshments will be served at the last site. The tour takes place May 24th. Participants should be at the Steamboat Depot by 10.
