The Colorado Health Exchange says they have enrolled over 124,000 Coloradans under Obamacare. That’s well short of original projections of about 135,000, but exceeds recently adjusted projections by about 30,000. Looking at the statistics on a County-wide basis, the majority of the enrollees are from the Denver and Boulder areas. In 46 of the state’s 64 counties, the rate of enrollment was less than 1 percent. No county saw an enrollment rate of over 18%. 187 Moffat County residents have enrolled, along with 71 Rio Blanco County residents, and 1,352 Routt County residents. The exchange is expected to pay for itself, but needed over 136,000 enrollees to raise just $6.5 million of its $51.4 million expense. Those that started the process before the March 31st deadline, have until the end of the day today, to finish the enrolling. You can see a list of county-by-county enrollment numbers by clicking here.
