Tickets are still available for the annual State of the Community Dinner which will take place Wednesday in Craig. Presentations during the dinner will focus on how to make the Craig and Moffat County economies resilient and strong. Keynote speakers Brian Lewandowski from the University of Colorado’s Business Research Division and Laura Blomquist Rodriguez of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, will present their findings from a study about the economics of rural Colorado. New Craig City Manager Mike Foreman and Moffat County Assessor Chuck Cobb will also be at the meeting to provide their views on the economic future of the area. In addition, there will be awards handed out for Business and Business Person of the Year. The dinner will take place Wednesday at the Clarion, the cost is $40 per person.
