State Legislature Week Ahead

co-state-capitol-300The upcoming week in the Colorado Legislature includes possible votes by the full House and Senate on some hefty bills. They include a final vote in the House on a requirement that all noncommercial vehicles have snow tires or chains during the winter and spring months while traveling on a nearly 130-mile stretch of Interstate 70 between Morrison and Dotsero. Meanwhile, the Senate is considering a vote on how to regulate powdered alcohol if it is approved for sale by federal regulators. The Senate is also deciding whether to let the state Department of Revenue access $166,000 in user fees to support a program that allows illegal immigrants to get a driver’s license.
