State Basketball Continues Through Saturday

State Basketball Tournaments in Colorado and Wyoming continue today through Saturday. The Little Snake River Valley Boys play Arvada-Clearmont today at noon at the Casper Event Center. Win that game and they will face the winner of the Stephens/Kaycee matchup tomorrow at 7:30 to see who advances to the State Championship, lose and they will play a consolation game tomorrow at noon. The Little Snake River Valley Girls play Kaycee in Casper this afternoon at 4:30. With a win the Girls play the winner of the Encampment/Little Fort Laramie game in the Semi finals tomorrow at 6.  Lose and the girls play a consolation game tomorrow morning at 10:30. At the 2A tournament in Colorado, the Meeker Boys play Norwood tomorrow at Gunnison High School. Win, and they play Sanford Saturday to advance, lose and they are eliminated.  The Meeker Girls play Ridgeway tomorrow at 1, with a victory they play Del Norte Saturday at 10, lose and they are out.  And the Rangely girls play Sanford tomorrow at 5, at Western State University in Gunnison. If they are victorious, the Rangely girls play Ignaciao Saturday at 3, lose and they are out.  In 3A, the number 6 seeded Moffat County Lady Bulldogs host 27th seeded Bennett tomorrow at 6:30. With a win the girls play the winner of the Pagosa Springs/St. Marry’s Academy game Saturday at 1. Win that game and the girls will advance to the Great 8 portion of the State Tournament next weekend at the University of Denver. Lose either game and the lady Bulldogs will be out of the tournament. We will broadcast all Moffat County Girls games live on 93.7 102.3 KRAI and online at KRAI.COM as they advance through the State Tournament.
