An avalanche killed a Utah man in southwestern Wyoming over the weekend. 35-year-old Brennan Walpole was in a group of about 15 riders when the slide occurred Friday afternoon around one. The group reportedly found Walpole after the slide and was able to dig him out of the snow in about ten minutes, but he was unconscious. Attempts to revive Walpole with CPR were unsuccessful, he was later flown to a hospital in Idaho, were he died. Two other snowmobilers in the group were also partially buried during the slide, they were able to escape without injury.
