Phase two of the Shadow Mountain Village Improvement Project will wrap up next week. Roy Tipton, of the Moffat County Office of Development Services, says the last of the paving will be done next week, and then crews will shut down for the winter. He says, despite some hiccups at the beginning of the project, they are on schedule. Funding for the third and final phase of the project has already been approved, so crews will be able to pick back up at the beginning of spring. Tipton estimates they’ll begin sometime in March. The project, when finished, will mean better water pressure for residents of the neighborhood. Water and sewer lines are being replaced and curb and gutter improvements are being made.
