Wyoming U.S. Senator Mike Enzi is recovering after he had to have emergency gallbladder surgery Sunday night. Enzi, who has represented Wyoming in the Senate since 1997, was in Wyoming when the emergency occurred. According to a statement, the Senator felt a bit off over the weekend and when he felt worse Sunday, he decided to go to the hospital. Once there, doctors identified the issue and removed the Senators gallbladder. Enzi says he is confident that he will soon be able to resume his full schedule. Enzi and Colorado Senator Cory Gardner are part of the group of 13 GOP Senators charged with drafting the senate’s version of legislation to replace the Affordable Care Act or Obama Care.
