All five occupants were transported by Meeker Fire & Rescue Ambulances to Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker for treatment. The driver and three passengers were then flown to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction for additional treatment. The 5th occupant is still being evaluated at Pioneers Medical Center. All 5 are reported to have critical or serious injuries. All five live in Meeker and range in age from 16 to 21. Names are not yet being released until it has been confirmed that all family members are notified. The crash is being investigated by the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and is still on-going.
