A portion of Forest Road 100, also known as Buffalo Park Road in the Gore Range near Yampa, will be closed for approximately two weeks, starting today, to allow a culvert to be replaced. The road will be fully closed to traffic 24 hours a day 7 days a week while the work is taking place. Non-motorized access to the surrounding forest will still be allowed and recreation sites outside of the work area will remain open. Those traveling through the National Forest should pay attention to signage and refer to the Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for alternate travel routes. MVUMs are free and physical copies can be obtained at the Yampa District Office, 300 Rose Lawn Ave.
