On June 19th, a group of fraternity men participating in Push America’s Journey of Hope, a 3,600-mile cycling event across the country, will be in Craig. This group of 26 cyclists and 9 crew members are riding from San Francisco to Washington D.C., raising funds and awareness for people with disabilities. The Journey of Hope team consists of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity men from across the country. The team will cycle an average of 75 miles per day ending at the National Capitol on August 2nd. Every cyclist commits to raising a minimum of $5,500 on behalf of people with disabilities in hopes to enhance their quality of life. The team will arrive at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig at 3 in the afternoon, where they will put on a special puppet show as well as a presentation on bike safety. That evening at 6, the team will join Horizons for dinner and a Friendship Visit.
