Ballots are due today in the Primary election. If you haven’t mailed in your completed ballot, you’ll need to take it in person to your local County Clerk and Recorder’s Office. Rio Blanco County’s Republican ballot will have Michael Joos facing off against Anthony Mazzola for County Sheriff. Moffat County voters will be deciding between Frank Moe and Tom Soos for Moffat County Commissioner District 3. Routt County has no contested races. Statewide, Dave Moloney is running against Chuck McConnell for State Representative District 26, which covers Routt County. Scott Tipton is defending his seat against David Cox. The hottest race on the Primary election ballot today is a four-way race for the Republican nomination for governor. Voters will choose between Mike Kopp, Scott Gessler, Tom Tancredo and Bob Beauprez. The winner will take on John Hickenlooper in the general election. Ballots are due by 7 tonight.
