Tomorrow is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The day is observed across the country as one to get rid of all outdated and unneeded medications in your house. From 10 to 2 tomorrow, the Craig Police Department will be stationed in the Centennial Mall parking lot, collecting those old prescription drugs from residents who drop them off. There are a few things they can’t accept, such as needles, mercury thermometers, oxygen containers, or illicit drugs. Those in Routt County can take their old prescriptions to the Steamboat Police Department or Oak Creek Town Hall. The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office will collect at their North Substation on Yellowstone Road. All collections take place from 10 to 2.
